A style differs from a material, because it is a drawing style. A style is not defined by layers of textures.
A style can be listed in the Catalog directory. |
Choose the desired style from the ones listed (Cartoon, Techno …).
You can select a shading for your style. By default, the style does not include any shading. (“Shading: None”). It will thus generate solid colors. If you wish to give your style a shading, choose between the suggested types of shading (2 shades, 4 shades, Saturated, Soft, rainbow, Zebra). This will bring the solid colors out to get a more layered result.
Proceed as follow to modify the fill color:
1. Click on the color sample.
2. Select a color following the instructions on the dialog box.
3. Click on the “OK” button if you are satisfied with the new color, or click on the “Cancel” button.
4. You can now set the luminance of the color using the corresponding slider.
To display only the contour lines, check the “Edge only” box.
To modify the color of the contour:
1. Click on the color sample.
2. Select a color following the instructions on the dialog box.
3. Click on the “OK” button if you are satisfied with the new color, or click on the “Cancel” button.
4. You can now set the luminance of the color using the corresponding slider.
q Editing the thickness of the edges
Use the slider to increase or decrease the edge thickness.
You can activate the “Neon” mode.
To modify the color of the Neon:
1. Click on the color sample.
2. Select a color following the instructions on the dialog box.
3. Click on the “OK” button if you are satisfied with the new color, or click on the “Cancel” button.
4. You can now set the luminance of the color using the corresponding slider.
This option displays additional internal lines. These lines correspond to edges of the object; they are made visible only if the angle defined by the two facets is greater than a specific value. The corresponding slider will modify this angle value and thus make edges visible or not.
To display only the contour lines, check the “Edge only” box.
To invert the contour line color and the fill color, check this box.
